The Student Loan Forgiveness Bill
AB 463, the Student Loan Forgiveness bill has been making its way through the California Legislature since the beginning of the year.
As of Monday, September 9, both the California Assembly and Senate passed AB 463 and moved it to the governors desk on the 11th.

2. SEND HIM AN EMAIL using the email template below and by going to his Contact the Governor webpage. When filling out the email contact form, choose “Have Comment” for the purpose of communication. Then, after filling in your name and email address, choose “AB000463\Community colleges: faculty members: student loan forgiveness” as your subject. Click on the “Continue” button and, on the next page, choose the “pro” option. In the comment box you’ll have a maximum of 6,000 characters to write your message with. (The email template has 1,863 characters.)
