The Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) CCFF–otherwise known as “the contract”– outlines the rules by which our employment is governed.
Because the contract is the result of a collaboration between the Union and the District, the language here empowers and protects both faculty and administration.
Provided on this page are links to the current contract, the 2015-18 CBA, and the older Faculty Handbook.
The current CBA — retroactively effective July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2021– was ratified by the Union’s members and the College’s Trustees in Spring 2019.
Tentative agreement(s)
Side Letter(s)
A side letter is an agreement of the parties that occurs during a CBA term. It usually modifies or interprets an existing CBA provision and remains in effect until that particular CBA term ends. When the CBA term expires, the side letter expires, unless by its own terms, it continues.
